Tim proposed on July 30^th, 2005. He recreated their first date: a stroll through Garden of the Gods followed by a romantic dinner at Gertrude's in Old Colorado City. Courtney knew something was coming, but she wasn't sure when or where; Tim popped the question back home, to add to their happy memories there.

Courtney was born in New Haven, CT on April 13, 1982. She grew up in West Haven and Woodbridge, CT with a younger sister. Courtney graduated summa cum laude from Colorado College in 2006 with a BA with distinction in mathematics. She works at the college as the paraprofessional for the math department and is currently applying to grad schools.

About Tim

Tim was born in Chehalis, WA on April 12, 1981 while Mount St Helens was erupting. Tim grew up in Scappoose, OR with an older brother and a younger sister. Tim graduated magna cum laude from Colorado College in 2003 with a BA in biology. He now works at the college as Administrative Technology Specialist, assisting faculty and staff with technology.

How They Met

Tim and Courtney met through a mutual friend. Afterwards, Courtney contrived to break her computer to see Tim again. And again. And again...

Inseparable

Courtney and Tim became a couple on March 4^th, 2004. Ever since that moment, they've been absolutely inseparable. They moved in together and adopted a cat in mid 2004. They spend most of their time together cooking, talking, or dancing (they love Lindy Hop and Balboa).

Their song is Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles, with Isn't It Romantic? as sung by Ella Fitzgerald in close second.
